Crime branch officers on Friday arrested a German national with narcotic drugs worth Rs 10.35 lakh from Siolim.
The 33-year-old Florian Kern from Germany, presently residing at Siolim was arrested with 50 grams of charas, 101 grams LSD “ all worth Rs 10.35 lakh.
An offence has been registered against Kern under sections 20 (b)(ii) (A) and 22 (c) of the NDPS act, 1985 on the complaint of PSI Marlon D’Souza attached to Crime Branch on behalf of the State.
The accused who is a native of Kiehlvfer, Berlin, in South Germany is a carpenter by profession.
Police have recovered six transparent polythene packets containing charas and a 50 gram bottle containing transparent LSD liquid from him.
He has been arrested and is in police custody. Further investigation is in progress under the supervision of PSI Laxi Amonkar.
